Having opened for major country icons including Jon Pardi, Gabby Barrett, and Joe Dee Messina, Prior Noon is made up of friends, and even a pair of brothers, who have grown up together playing music and figuring out life. These shared experiences and memories contribute to the band’s undeniable chemistry on and off stage. Prior Noon’s signature sound draws from their small town roots and coming-of-age experiences and is inspired by artists such as Lady A, Maren Morris, Keith Urban, and Taylor Swift.
After leading worship together at their local church through middle and high school, the band decided to officially form Prior Noon in May of 2020. The band’s schedule began to grow over the next few years playing dozens of shows throughout their native West Michigan (see past venues below). The band also made some trips to Nashville and has written, recorded, and released their debut EP, "If This Feeling Was a Place", which includes 6 songs that have racked up over 275K total streams/stream equivalents.
The band is made up of McKenna Grody (vocals), Nick Struckmeyer (lead electric), Drew Struckmeyer (bass, background vocals), Joe Warren (rhythm electric, background vocals), and Jay Stadt (drums).
